You may ask on a defined schedule, but apply it to every client who reaches that point, not only to satisfied ones. Verify the schedule with counsel.

Can I offer a small thank-you for leaving any review?

Only if the reward does not depend on what the review says or on whether it is positive, and counsel has reviewed it. Never tie a reward to a positive review.
