Questions

Is 30 percent the number I need to hit?

There is no magic number. Scoring models do not use one fixed target. Lower balances generally help, and both per-card and overall numbers can matter.

Does a zero balance always help my score?

Not always the whole story. Scores use many factors, and how a zero balance is reported can differ by card. Ask your credit repair team if you are unsure.

Can I see my utilization on my credit report?

Often you can see balances and limits on your report. Compare them with your statements, since reports can lag behind or contain errors.
